Annie is a hard-to-find shorter Haflinger/Draft? Cross. Broke to ride, started in harness. She is UTD on vaccines, hoofs, coggins. She is gentle, smart, quick learner. Ties well, been camping overnight. Can be loaded into trailer by one person, just send her, she'll load. She knows leg cues, has a soft mouth. Knows to yeild to leg pressure - will side pass, pivot on fore quarters and hind quarters. Will stand very still for mounting, even at a table or mounting block. Will back on verbal command. Knows walk jog, trot. Her canter needs work, you must cue her clearly or she will sometimes cross-canter. NO bucking, kicking, rear, bite or agressive behavior. Good for vet, shoer, baths, fly spray. Good in pasture, quiet in barn. EASY keeper, no grain, just supplements. She rides best with others on trail, follows quietly. Ponys well with 4 wheeler/carriage. Good in arena. Will sometimes get nervous when ridden alone, not afraid of traffic, but will spook at running calves, bright trash cans, strange large objects. She mostly freezes or gets hesitant. She has never done anything that came close to unseating me. I am just getting too old, fat and clumsy to be out riding alone - ONLY reason she is for sale. Never bred, but would be excellent for Gypsy and cob breeders. NOTE:(Friend is riding in pics- I am driving carriage in one photo)
